1. How does hiring work?

 

Hiring equipment from Cestrian Hire is a simple, cost effective & hassle free solution to all of your event requirements.  Simply select your required products from our range and let us know. We can answer any questions you have and provide advise if required.  We’ll confirm an inclusive price and agree a delivery & collection date.

 

2. How far do you travel?

We usually cover a radius of 50 miles from WInsford, CW7 2RB in Cheshire.

 

3. Can I view items to hire in advance of ordering?

You’re more than welcome to visit us by appointment (just check we’re there before setting off) and we can help you get the right items and quantity for your event.

 

4. Do you deliver?

Yes we do. Delivery will depend how far your event is from CW7 2RB. We charge £0.50 per mile each way for delivery & collection. E.g If your event was 15 miles away then the delivery & collection cost would be a total of £30. You are also welcome to collect from our warehouse in Winsford CW7 2RB, but delivery is the norm. We use either a large tail lift Luton van or medium van depending on what you hire. Please make us aware of any access issues in advance. 

 

5. Will you deliver items to my chosen location?

Usually we’ll deliver all items to the ground floor of the venue, but we must be able to park our vans nearby. Any stairs, lifts or non-ground floor locations will incur an additional charge.  Delivery is usually between 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday with collection available on a Sunday too with no extra charge, Delivery or Collections may be available outside these hours on request. 

 

6. How do I calculate the number of glasses I need?

The easiest way is to get in touch and we’ll talk you through it.

Alternatively, decide how many guests will be attending & what drinks you’ll be serving. Usually you won’t be able to wash up during the event, so you’ll need one glass per drink each time.  

 

7. Do I need to clean my equipment before returning it?

All of our glassware is delivered clean and can be returned to us used at no extra cost.

Equipment such as fridges or bars should be wiped down prior to collection if anything has been spilt.  

 

8, If I hire a bar & equipment, will you set it up?

We will show you the operation of all equipment hired until you are confident how to use it. We can advise & set up a full bar ready to serve, but this will incur an additional charge.  

 

9. What’s your normal hire period?

Our standard hire is 72 hours but this can be extended.

 

10. Can we contact Cestrian Hire In an emergency during our event?

Yes. You’ll be given a number that you can call outside office hours.

 

11. Can I change my order?

Yes. We understand that changes are necessary and we’ll do our best to accommodate this as long as you ideally give at least 72 hours notice.

 

12. What is the loss & breakage deposit?

We take a deposit to cover loss & damage. It can happen and when we accept an order we’ll provide the replacement cost of each item listed.

 

13. Payment Options?

BACS is our preferred option but we can accept card payment through our website

 

14. What deposit do you require to secure my items?

We require a 25% deposit with the balance payable by BACS no later than 14 days before the delivery or collection date. 

 

15. What are your opening hours?

We generally work 7 days a week from 9am until late!
