SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE ROLLOVER EFFECTS

Our search for interesting uses of our rollover app continues! Unfortunately we weren’t able piece together much of a theme with this week’s Highlight video, but that won’t stop us from showcasing some effective uses of our rollover app.

We start this showcase with the portfolio of radio maker Inja Laureys. Okay it’s a really simple use of the rollover application but simplistic style it really stands. We hadn’t really thought about applying animation in this way before, very interesting!

Sticking with portfolios next we’ve highlighted designer Megan Abruzzo, in particular, her retouching work. It’s another very subtle use of the app but we’ve really enjoyed how they’ve put it to good use. In photo retouching designers take photos a spruce them up, taking away untidy background objects, removing skin blemishes and so on. So to see the app used to give before and after comparisons is fun way to show off exactly what you can do. Great job!!

An finishing off this weeks video is another idea we hadn’t really thought about before. Stonyhurst Consultancy have used rollover to add some life to their titles another simple use but very effect. It also ties in nicely to a tutorial we recently about applying rollover to columns, now here’s another way you can use that lesson.
