Why we stopped with e-commerce

It has been a hard decision to take, but we have decided to halt development on the ecommerce element of Rollover. We had planned to integrate wIth Shoprocket, bringing their innovations to the Wix platform, but we've called time on that idea - here's why. FOCUS.

In 2016, when we first began working for an ecommerce partner, the Wix landscape was quite different to how it is today, and we were looking for a way to keep Rollover relevant, and exciting. It felt like offering ecommerce was the natural step, our animations enabled shop owners to show off their products in unique ways. And whilst that remains true, we realised that we were losing the core appeal of the app. Considering that Wix Stores and Ecwid are also very good, we thought it was a good idea to stick to animations.
