ATTACHING ROLLOVER TO COLUMNS
Have you been using our Rollover app on you website? Looking for some new and creative ways you can use it? Well this tutorial might just be what you’re looking for!
In this tutorial we show you how to apply our Rollover app to Wix columns to make your site more manageable and show off some stylish combinations you can try out.
Here’s the clip notes from the video if you prefer:
Firstly add a Strip. Move over to the left sidebar and press Add, then navigate down the list to Strip.
Add whatever strip you takes your fancy, their all made up of columns so anyone will do for this demonstration.
Now we want to add our rollover application. Move over to the left sidebar and press Add Apps. In the search bar we want to find Rollover Image Effects. Once you’ve found it add it your site.
Now that we have both elements go ahead and drag the rollover app into a column until ‘Attach to Column’ appears at the top of it…and release!
Congratulations you’ve attached Rollover to a Column! That’s really all there is to it.
You can now continue to change the setting of Rollover in the normal manner now it’s locked into position with that column.
You can further this process if you want multiple columns with Rollover. This can be done by selecting the column, clicking ‘Manage Column’ and then duplicate to get an identical copy of the column with your Rollover effect
Of course this is just a simple demonstration of the process. To get the most out of it it’s up to you to experiment and play around with the Rollover app. Here’s what we came up with from the template in this demonstration.
