If you have an emergency and need to contact us please bear the following in mind:

• Always contact the practice before bringing down an emergency case. Even during normal working hours we sometimes need to direct you to premises where we can most effectively deal with the problem.

• Please listen carefully to the answerphone message you will hear when the surgery is closed; you will be given a mobile phone number to contact the vet on duty.

• Please restrict your calls to cases that you feel genuinely require emergency attention, if you are not sure please consult our online sick pet helper 

• Out of hours consultations are subject to a surcharge that you will need to pay at the time. Please enquire at the time of your call.

• We do not routinely carry out house visits outside of normal working hours as the vet on duty needs to be available at the surgery for other emergencies that may arise and critical problems are best dealt with in a practice environment.
