Pippa Elliott

BVMS MRCVS

Pippa’s first contact with the Blythwood Vets was as a teenager when Bradley treated her dachshund, ‘Paddington’. As a school student she saw practice at the Hatch End surgery and then returned to gain experience as a vet student in the mid-1980′s. Pippa graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1987 to work in a Portsmouth private practice and then the PDSA. In the late 1990′s her husband’s job brought her back to the Hertfordshire just as Blythwood Vets took over Paul Vos’s practice in Bushey Village. Married with two teenage sons she is also housekeeping staff to five adorable cats and a guinea pig.

Barry Cameron

BVM&S MRCVS

Barry qualified from Edinburgh University in 1999, and started work at Blythwood the following September. “I feel we have a fantastic team here at Blythwood with well over a hundred years of veterinary and nursing experience between us. This allows us to deliver the level of commitment and care we strive to achieve.” His passion in the veterinary field has always been domestic animals and he has a particular interest in cardiology (the study of the heart). Away from work Barry enjoys running, going to the gym and skiing.

Christian graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1999. He spent two years working in Somerset then worked as a locum for several years across the UK and in France, including time at the central RSPCA hospital in Birmingham and regular stints at Blythwood. He is interested in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and is a member of the European Society of Feline Medicine. He now lives in West Hampstead with his two cats Darth Vader and Bullet. Outside of work Christian loves rock climbing, skiing and swimming and is an active fundraiser for the local RSPCA.

Oli Viner

Oli joined the practice whilst still gestating. Having grown up above the Hatch End surgery and then at the Northwood site, he then went to the Royal Veterinary College to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a vet. Having qualified in 2007, Oli went to work at a small animal hospital in Aylesbury, before returning to Blythwood. Oli works at all the sites, and lives in the Watford area. He is the proud owner of his Black Labrador called Ron who can often be seen at the surgeries with him and two gorgeous cats both which he rescued.

She spent a year working in a busy small animal hospital in Southampton before joining Blythwood Vets where she works alongside her husband Oli Viner. She has particular interests in rabbits as well as small animal surgery and would like to pursue a certificate in this area. She and Oli have a daughter named Eva and own two cats they rescued and ‘Ron’ their working black lab who comes to work with them.
