Blythwood Vets

Kirsti Hummel

Kirsti has been with us since September 2012; after completing a BSc in Animal Science and working for an animal health company, she joined our team as receptionist and marketing coordinator. In her capacity of marketing coordinator she takes care of our e-newsletters, advertising and campaigns. Kirsti lives in Rickmansworth with her husband and two cats, Lionel and Porridge, and dreams of having a small holding filled with animals.

Ros Gill

Ros is a Receptionist at our Bushey Branch and has been with us for many years, Ros has completed her Hill’s Nutrition Advisor part 2, Dorwest Herbs Course and is also a Pet Insurance Advisor for Petplan. Ros works for Blythwood part time as this fits around her family, dog, two cats and horses. Ros is a helpful, caring member of our team.

Judy Black

Judy joined the Blythwood team in November 2008 as a receptionist. She works at our Pinner & Northwood surgeries, part time. Judy is married to Neil and they have three boys, Jamie, Oli & Freddie. She has a very bouncy Boxer called Millie who keeps Judy on her toes!

Hayley Greaves

Hayley has been working at Blythwood since September 2010 after completing a First Diploma in Animal Care where subjects included practical work, animal handling, basic nursing and health and biology. She works mainly at our Bushey and Stanmore branches and is a huge animal lover. Hayley has a Japanese Akita called Skye.

Louise Acres

Louise joined Blythwood in June 2011 and works across all our branches. She has a Labrador called Brian who is adorable but very mischievous. In her spare time Louise likes to spend time with the other man in her life, her husband. She is very creative and can be found creating wonderful arts & crafts in her spare time.

Eleanor Goodman

Eleanor has been with our Bushey branch since 2010 as a work experience helper in her last year of A-levels. Since then she has progressed to becoming a part-time receptionist while she studies Zoology at Royal Holloway University of London, with a view to studying Veterinary Medicine afterwards. Eleanor is a keen horse-rider and is happily owned by a whippet called Skye.

Mandy Shine

Mandy is a relatively new member of staff. She spends the majority of her time at our Bushey surgery but helps out at Hatch End and Stanmore too. Mandy is loving her time with Blythwood and is a huge animal lover. She has 2 dogs- a beautiful blue brindle whippet and a very cute apricot Cockapoo. She also has a passion for horses of which she has 3.

Julie Mans

Julie has been with Blythwood since September 2012, working across all four branches, but mainly our Bushey and Hatch End surgeries.   Julie is a huge ailurophile (her new favourite word - you'll have to Google it!) and has three cats of her own, plus two degus and several fish (oh, and three children!). She is a keen traveller and gardener and would love to run a small animal hotel, or if she won the lottery, an animal rescue centre.

Anita Hughes

Anita has worked at our Northwood branch since shortly after it opened and is the longest standing member of staff! Anita has a meticulous eye for detail and has built up great relationships with both our Blythwood patients and clients and all her colleagues. Anita has decided to reduce her hours of late due to family commitments, but we hope she will stay with us part time for many years to come.

Jane Rackley

Jane has been a receptionist here at Blythwood since July 2004. Helping out at Puppy classes on Thursday evenings over at Northwood is somewhere else that you will often see her and it’s something that she enjoys doing. Jane owns 2 “rescue” dogs – Meg (a Jack Russell Terrier), and Conner (a Bichon Frise) and they tend to keep her busy and on her toes most of the time! Jane tends not to take life too seriously and can normally be heard laughing from miles away!

Tracy Griffiths

Tracy joined the practice in October 2011, and works across all the Branches. She has been married for umpteen years and have 2 sons and am shortly to become a ‘Grandma’. Working at Blythwood, Tracy loves her job as she's a huge animal lover, and would willingly take them all home. She sometimes helps out at puppy classes too.
